I want to thank both Lori Anderson,Pretty Things Blog for once again hosting this wonderful event, and my partner Molly Alexander,.http://beautifullybrokenme.blogspot.com/2014/05/welcome-to-bead-soup-blog-party.html for sending such a lovely and challenging soup mix
The soup mix included lots of copper pieces..focals ,beads and bead caps, that Molly made and enameled ..fun chains, faceted Czech glass, and glass beads. There was so much ,and all of it wonderful, that I just kept making things..
so...here we go...
Molly provided 2 copper focals, I had originally thought to alter this one to make a bracelet ..but changed my mind about that.. I had drilled 2 holes at the bottom for the bracelet connector...so riveted a loop to hold some dangles instead plus, changed the patina color a bit to match the turquoise knotted leather..
5 large glass beads from soup paired with Indonesian glass from my stash, went into this bracelet.
and finally this casually knotted leather bracelet used Molly's enameled tubes and one of my large ceramic beads along with another of Molly's enameled clasps.
Thanks everyone for stopping by my blog ...leave a comment if you like...This link will take you back to Lori's Blog and the links for the other participants.

I like that you left the riveted holes as an ornamental feature, that necklace is my favourite but I admire your creations throughout!

Your first necklace makes me think of Santa Fe. It evokes the southwest in the best way. Simply yet detailed and a great use of your soup ingredients. I like how you altered the focal. Very nicely done!
Beautiful designs all! It's really hard to choose just one but I am leaning towards the heart necklace though the other one really reminds me of the Tardis so love that one too.
I really like what you did with your soup couldn't pick a favourite though!
