Thanks...Giving

I've never much been a fan of the Thanksgiving holiday as a whole, but as I've gotten, let's not say Older, but more mature( Ok stop that laughing)
I've come to appreciate there are a lot of blessings to be counted in my life.
Even in difficult times there are things one can be grateful for.
Perhaps it's a good thing to have a day to stop and think about how fortunate we are in the worldwide view..
It probably shouldn't be just one day a year..and not about eating til your eyes bug out and your pants button flies across the room.
my own personal list of gratitude would be loooong.

that is a good thing - there is a balance to life - people just lose sight of it...

I like the idea that it's a time to spend w/family. And its not like xmas where people shove the whole "believe in the spirit of blah blah blah". you dont have to believe in any spirit or buy tons of girfts. just hang w/the fam, cook, eat.

We all have things we can be thankful for. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving, however you celebrate.
